would strongly recommend Corcreggan Mill to all my family and friends and I will certainly be returning only downside was we only stayed the 1 night staff very friendly and Brendan was helpful and very accomodating will be going back soon for a longer stay. Very warm and friendly throughout other residents very nice all in all a great experience.

you would have to be very picky to dislike Corcreggan location and atmosphere excellent.

I thought the Mill was an interesting place to stay with lots of character. The owner was pleasant and welcoming as well all we encountered there.

We stayed the one night due our trip around Co donegal and North Ireland. Beds are quite comfortable, room quiet and big. However we paid for room 60 e with breakfast included unfortunatelly for irish breakfast they ask 14 euro for 2. I supouse this is a little bit averpriced

Well I liked it all the easy going way the helpful and friendly staff the host Brendan was a mind of information and he shared all his expieience with all the guests oh yeh they provided breakfast as well the hostel building is very interesting and again Brendan will explain all of the work they have done and how they used so much of the old building products in the new build. In the area you can walk for ever so much to see and so many viewing areas I will return for sure

The only thing I didnt like was leaving after a great weekend

The relaxed atmosphere in friendly serviced accommodation. The proximity to a seaside resort with all you need for essentials and local crafts/gifts, good food, music, sports-especially water/fishing, The artefacts and furnishings creating an ambience of history and taste and the personal touch with photos and articles and the talk given on places of interest, to some. The grounds with boat sculptures and interesting finds, the buildings-all natural products and designs that suit the tradition of this place. Would be great to see the water wheel turning to produce the energy needed. I liked the hostel being near the camping experience and that feeling of outdoors, as shared kitchen and showers with same, but also the choice of breakfast and upstairs lounge with room guests or the lower ground floor lounge as easier with walking difficulties. Rooms on ground floor also for those who have degrees of lameness or difficulties with health.

Just country things like flies near water, lurky, snappy, sharp anything that bites but didn't see vermin which can be a problem in some areas with rivers and streams. This does not include the lovely dog who came to greet me each day I was there in morning.

The staff were very helpful and friendly. The room and en suite, were spotless. We had a room with twin beds made up as a double which wasn't as good as a double but no real complaints. The staff gave us helpful maps of the area and advised on walks. The mill is an interesting mix of buildings with a railway carriage in the grounds. Would definitely recommend this hostel / b&B.

Twin beds made up as a double - doesn't work!

Super location with querky accomodation. Grounds gorgeous. Accomodation basic but good value for money. Would be a great location for spectacular walking or sightseeing holiday

The room was nice, warm and clean

My reservation didn't match the room: I booked a double en suite and I was given a double with share bathroom for the same price. I complained but they said that the problem occurred because of a misunderstanding with Booked.net . anyway nothing was ok because they were badly organized: too many people at breakfast queuing for toasts and coffee.

Nice evening and night spent in the youth hostel! We have meet some nice people from all over the world! Lovely place to stay for a night or two.

Irish breakfast not included in the price...

      Good informative host.

Bit too far from the town and the parking wasn't easy to find.

We stayed in the self-catering apartment with its own entrance porch, but close enough to use the hostel facilities including two lovely sitting rooms, garden etc - giving us opportunity of a mix of own space and meeting other people/nationalities. The apartment was quirky and quaint and we had a really enjoyable stay. Fantastic location - close to Dunfanaghy, Inishbofin Island, Ards Friary, Ards Forest Park

We stopped off for a night at the end of June. Corcreggan Mill is a unique experience and we will return to spend more time there and explore the surrounding countryside. My son thinks Brendan is a Legend. Check it out!
